Job summary

Lutheran Village Miller's Grant - a Lutheran Social Ministries of Maryland Community in Ellicott City, MD is seeking Part-Time Servers/Utility Workers to support dining services for residents. You will join a warm team, handle ware-washing, food delivery, and serving duties, while maintaining clean, sanitary work areas and following HACCP guidelines.

Flexible weekend shifts, comprehensive compensation, on-site fitness center and indoor pool access, plus career growth opportunities and referral

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service experience.
• Previous experience in a Continued Care Retirement Community (CCRC) is a plus.
• Ability to work in a team-centered environment.
• Must be flexible and able to work every other weekend as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Follows proper ware-washing and storage procedures.
• Assists with food delivery.
• Maintains work/service area in a neat and sanitary manner.
• Operates a variety of kitchen utensils for cooking, serving and storing.
• Inspects work stations for compliance with service standards.
• Cleans and sanitizes workstations and equipment following HACCP.
• Provides general stocking duties.
• Serves and replenishes food and beverages.
• Restocks at the end of meal period for next shift.
• Takes and fulfills food orders from residents.
• Participates in all departmental and community training as assigned.
