Job summary

Tradition, a Transforming Age community in Brooklyn Park, MN, is hiring part-time servers to assist residents with meals, present menus, record orders, and deliver meals. Shifts include weekdays and some weekend days.

The role requires at least 16 years of age, with prior server experience preferred and POS experience encouraged. Applicants may undergo background checks and pre-employment screenings as required by state/local guidelines.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age; parental/guardian permission required.
• Previous server experience is highly preferred.
• 6 months or more in long term care, home care or related field preferred.
• Must pass background check and pre-employment screenings as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with meal selection and order presentation.
• Record orders and relay to kitchen production area.
• Deliver food efficiently and aid residents as needed.
• Clear and reset tables for next service.
• Assist with light back-of-house duties as needed.
• Observe residents to ensure safety in dining areas.
