Job summary

North Italia in Omaha, NE is seeking friendly servers to join our team in a part-time role. You will take orders, enter into the POS system, and ensure guests feel welcome with attentive service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a high-volume restaurant.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Make all guests feel comfortable and let them know you are there to take care of them.
• Know regular guests by name and know their preferences and needs.
• Make recommendations you believe guests will enjoy.
• Take food and beverage orders and enter into the POS system.
• Keep the dining spaces clean and presentable.
• Communicate regularly with your tables and anticipate their needs.
• Go above and beyond guests' expectations; respond promptly and courteously to requests.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant.
