Job summary

Magnolia Green Golf Club in Moseley, VA is seeking a part-time server to deliver friendly, timely service in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

You will take food and beverage orders, serve items to guests, handle payments, and maintain clean, organized dining areas while working as part of a team to ensure guest satisfaction. A HS diploma and 1–2 years of experience are expected.—

Qualifications

• One to two years of food service experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law.
• Must be dependable.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a professional appearance at all times.
• Provides prompt and efficient customer service.
• Displays knowledge of the F&B menu.
• Takes guests' food and drink orders and turns them in to the kitchen, bar, and other applicable areas.
• Serves beverages and prepared meals to guests in an accurate and timely manner.
• Adheres to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies, including confirming legal drinking age and discontinuing service to intoxicated guests.
• Checks back to ensure guest satisfaction; replenishes items as necessary or as requested.
• Suggests and serves dessert, coffee, and other items as applicable or necessary.
• Handles all cash and credit card payments following standard operating procedures.
• Keeps tables, dining room, and workstations sanitized and organized.
• Listens and responds to customer complaints.
• Performs cleanup and closing procedures as assigned by the manager.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
