Job summary

Delaware North's Patina Group is hiring part-time Servers at Leatherby’s Restaurant in Costa Mesa, California. As a Server you will greet guests, take orders, serve beverages, and use the POS system while describing daily specials and maintaining a welcoming dining experience.

This is a tipped position with a listed hourly wage of $16.90; tips are separate from base pay. Rewards include weekly pay, training and development opportunities, employee discounts, and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in cash handling and credit card processing.
• One year experience as a server in a high-volume environment is preferred.
• No high school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet and attend to guests’ needs, provide menus and communicate specials, take orders.
• Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly and follow service policies.
• Enter orders into the POS and process payments, deliver checks.
• Collaborate with other servers and kitchen staff.
• Perform opening/closing, cleaning and side work duties; keep area clean and sanitized.
