Job summary

Bradford Square Retirement Community in Naples, FL is seeking a Part-Time Server to help create joyful dining experiences for residents. The role supports Casual and Fine Dining, takes orders, serves courses, and assists with room-service deliveries.

The position requires 11:00am–3:00pm hours with occasional evening shifts and no prior experience is required. A team-oriented, friendly approach and English communication are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English with residents, guests, and employees.
• Must be at least 15 years of age or older.
• No previous work experience is required.
• Ability to secure required food handler permits as required by local ordinances within two weeks of hire.
• State regulations may require certain applicants to obtain a work permit before beginning employment.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the dining experience by assisting residents in Casual Dining, carrying trays, offering beverages, and proactively meeting service needs.
• Create memorable moments in Fine Dining by greeting tables, guiding menu selections, accurately taking orders, and serving courses from beverages to desserts.
• Keep the dining room looking its best by clearing and resetting tables, handling dishes, filling water carafes, and setting tables before meals.
• Help keep things clean and organized by vacuuming carpets, cleaning the salad bar, and completing other cleaning tasks.
• Deliver room service meals and pick up trays with a friendly, positive attitude.
• Listen and respond kindly to resident comments or concerns and share feedback with a manager.
• Jump in and help where needed by completing support work and other tasks assigned by supervisors.
