The Goodman Group, LLC in Minnesota is seeking a Server to deliver outstanding dining experiences to residents and guests. You will provide Platinum Service with every interaction, ensure meals are appealing, and maintain sanitation standards across service areas.

Shifts include early mornings and evenings, with wage ranging from $16.50 to $18.50 per hour depending on experience. The role requires strong guest service and the ability to work with diverse residents in a community setting.

• Provide Platinum Service with each dining experience.
• Set up meal trays, food carts and dining room with utensils, napkins, and clean areas.
• Assist in checking resident trays before distribution.
• Pour beverages and assist residents with opening containers as needed.
• Prepare and deliver snacks to events and parties.
• Bus tables during and after meals and support other dining rooms as needed.
• Clean dining room area according to schedules and assignments.

The primary purpose of this position is to provide residents and guests with the best possible dining experience and deliver Platinum Service® with each interaction.

Shifts

• Day: 7am-10:30am
• Evening: 4pm-7:30pm

Wage

$16.50-$18.50 Hourly, depending on experience.

Essential Job Functions

• Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures.
• Distribute and collect menus as necessary.
• Take meal orders, serve food and beverages, and answer questions regarding the menu.
• Follow sanitary regulations at all times.
• Provide Platinum Service with each dining experience.
• Set up meal trays, food carts and set up the dining room with utensils, salt and pepper, napkins, and clean common areas prior and after meals are served.
• Assist in checking resident trays before distribution.
• Pour hot and cold beverages for residents. Assist residents with opening their containers and condiments as needed. Pay special attention to resident and guest needs while they are enjoying their dining experience.
• Prepare and deliver snacks to special events and parties hosted at the community.
• Bus tables during and after the meals.
• Provide support services to other dining rooms, during events and activities as needed.
• Clean dining room area according to the cleaning schedules and assignments.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

• Deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public.
• Capable of working with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset people within the facility.
• Communicate in a manner that is sufficient for effective communication with supervisors, team members, residents, and families.

Education And Experience

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Food service and/or hospitality experience preferred

Supervisory Responsibility

This position does not have direct reports or supervisory requirements.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

Tasks assigned to this position may involve potential and/or direct exposure to blood, body fluids, infectious diseases, air contaminants, and hazardous chemicals.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to frequently lift/carry 30 lbs. and occasionally lift/carry 50 lbs. at times
• Must be able to frequently push/pull up to 30 lbs. and occasionally push/pull up to 50 lbs.

• Reaching at or below the shoulder
• Frequently standing or walking
