Job summary

Tenfold Senior Living in Folsom, CA is seeking a server to deliver compassionate dining services to residents, building relationships and delivering a memorable dining experience.

You will take orders with a digital POS, know the menu and daily specials, set and clear tables, maintain the Bistro, and keep the dining areas clean. Qualifications include being at least 17, a CA food handler card, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in interacting with and deeply relating to seniors.
• Meets all applicable licensing and background requirements to work in a licensed RCFE.

As a server, your primary responsibility is delivering excellent dining services to all our residents, which requires intimately knowing every resident and their unique preferences and needs.

Other primary responsibilities include:

• Ensuring residents experience a compassionate, friendly and efficient dining experience in all three dining room venues
• Support and encourage your fellow Dining team members
• Utilizing a digital POS system to take food and beverage orders from residents in a timely and organized fashion, which requires knowing the menu (and ingredients of menu items) and memorizing the daily specials
• Setting and clearing tables, washing table tops and condiment containers after every meal
• Maintain clean and fully supplied coffee and juice bar in the Bistro
• Keep the servery and dining room meticulously clean at all times

Requirements

Qualifications:

• At least 17 years of age
• High school diploma or GED, preferred
• Current CA food handlers card
• Interest in interacting with and deeply relating to seniors
• Meets all applicable licensing and background requirements to work in a licensed RCFE
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
