Job summary

Alto Wheaton in Wheaton, IL is seeking a friendly Server to join the dining team. You will greet residents, take orders, serve meals, and keep the dining room clean, delivering a warm, home-like experience for our residents.

This part-time PM position offers flexible hours, weekend and holiday availability, and competitive pay. Prior food service is helpful but not required, with on‑the‑job training provided by Allegro Living. Join a supportive team dedicated to resident well‑being.

Qualifications

• Must be minimum of 16 years of age.
• Attention to detail, be flexible/adaptable, safety awareness, and be a team player.
• Must have positive Criminal Background Screening.
• Community is a drug-free workplace; associates are subject to Drug Free Workplace policy.
• Food serving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat residents and guests in a timely and professional manner.
• Serve food in an efficient and professional manner.
• Clear tables and sanitize dining areas after each meal period.

Do you love making people feel at home at mealtime? Alto Wheaton is looking for a friendly, dependable Server to join our dining team. You'll help create a warm, welcoming dining experience for our residents every day, working alongside our Dining Services team.

• Shift: PM, days vary — flexibility needed to work mornings, mid-days, and evenings (no late nights)
• Employment Type: Part-Time
• Weekend and holiday availability required

Areas of Responsibility

• Greet and seat residents and guests in a timely and professional manner as well as approach and interact with residents and guests in a friendly, service-oriented, and professional manner.
• Serve food in an efficient and professional manner.
• Clear tables of glasses, silverware, dishes, etc. when residents and guests have finished a course or their meal according to Company protocol.
• Maintain a clean dining room. Chairs, windows, floors, and all work areas should be wiped down and sanitized after every meal period.
• Deliver and retrieve trays to and from residents’ apartments as needed.
• Label and date all food.
