Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities is seeking a Part-Time Server to help create joyful dining experiences for residents. You will work with a collaborative team to deliver attentive service in both casual and fine dining settings.

No prior work experience is required, and applicants must be at least 15 years old and able to communicate effectively in English with residents and staff. Food handler permits may be required within two weeks of hire.

• Ability to secure required food handler permits as required by local ordinances within two weeks of hire.
• State regulations may require certain applicants to obtain a work permit before beginning employment.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the dining experience by assisting residents in Casual Dining by carrying trays, offering beverages, and proactively meeting service needs.
• Create memorable moments in Fine Dining by warmly greeting tables, guiding residents through menu selections, accurately taking orders, and serving all courses.
• Keep the dining room looking its best by clearing and resetting tables, handling dishes, filling water carafes, and setting tables before meals.
• Help keep things clean and organized by vacuuming carpets, cleaning the salad bar, and completing other tasks as needed.
• Deliver room service meals and pick up trays with a friendly, positive attitude.
• Listen and respond kindly to resident comments or concerns and share feedback with a manager or supervisor as needed.
• Jump in and help where needed by completing support work and other tasks assigned by supervisors or managers.

What We're Looking For

• Must be at least 15 years of age or older.
• No previous work experience is required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English with residents, guests, and employees.
• Ability to secure required food handler permits as required by local ordinances within two (2) weeks of hire.
• State regulations may require certain applicants to obtain a work permit before beginning employment. If this applies to you based on your age and state of residence, the Community Manager at the location where you are applying will provide guidance on the necessary steps. Any required work permit must be submitted to the Community at the time of hire to ensure compliance with state requirements.
