Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians in the care of animals.
• Restrain animals during initial examinations as needed.
• Stock examination and surgery rooms with supplies; sterilize tools and ensure equipment is functional.
• Assist with procedures such as venipuncture, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, dental prophy, radiography, and client education.
