The role supports resident independence and quality of life with compassionate, patient transportation, adherence to safety protocols, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Valid Wisconsin driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to safely assist older adults with mobility needs.
• Dependable, organized, and able to work independently.
• Previous experience transporting seniors or individuals with mobility challenges is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to medical appointments, outings, and special events.
• Provide transportation for Club Gabriel participants to and from their primary residences.
• Assist residents and participants with entering and exiting the vehicle safely when needed.
• Ensure passenger safety, comfort, and dignity throughout each trip.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate transportation records and schedules.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and organizational policies.
• Participate in the on-call and holiday rotation schedule.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, infection prevention, and workplace safety guidelines.
