Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in East Meadow, NY is seeking a compassionate part-time Caregiver to support residents with daily activities, follow individualized service plans (ISP), and promote safety, dignity and independence. You will assist with ADLs, engage residents in conversations and activities, support dining services, and communicate with families; CPR/First Aid preferred or obtained on hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or able to obtain) within hire.
• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and personal care.
• Follow ISP and document changes, promote safety, dignity and independence.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders; memory care enrichment as needed.
