Visiting Angels in Baytown is hiring a Part Time Caregiver to support clients throughout the local area in Anahuac, Mont Belvieu, Baytown, Dayton, Liberty and more. A Part Time Caregiver wears many hats, helping clients stay at home with dignity and providing compassionate care.

Responsibilities include personal care, light housekeeping, meal prep, mobility support, medication reminders, and companionship. Flexible shifts cover 8, 10, 12 hours, plus PRN options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent time-management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation to client visits and ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and hygiene for clients.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation with client input.
• Encourage exercises and mobility; assist with doctor visits and errands.
• Remind and assist with prescribed medications and appointments.
• Shop for groceries or assist with shopping as needed.
• Plan activities to provide companionship and prevent isolation.
• Respond quickly to medical emergencies and report health changes.
