Visiting Angels Baytown is hiring at-home caregivers to enrich the quality of life for clients across the local area, including Anahuac, Mont Belvieu, Baytown, Dayton, and Liberty. Join a team that values compassionate care and flexible schedules.

You will provide personal care, companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping, and mobility support, while reporting health changes and emergencies as needed. Training opportunities are available to expand skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and a reliable vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• First Aid and emergency response training provided if needed.
• Excellent time-management and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking duties while following dietary constraints.
• Willingness to comply with health and safety standards (e.g., background checks).
• Compassion and a desire to brighten the day for each client.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Support light physical activity or walking with clients.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Handle light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or unusual incidents.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
• Remind and assist clients with prescription medications.
• Assist with mobility and ambulation at home and during appointments.
