AdviniaCare in Greenville, RI is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team for 24 hours per week. You will maintain clean, safe, and comfortable resident spaces, focusing on odor control, floor care, and timely upkeep of rooms.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, safety, and respectful interactions with residents and staff. Previous nursing home housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in housekeeping in a nursing home or related facility.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to follow instructions and work calmly with residents and staff.
• Willingness to learn new cleaning methods and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Keep residents' rooms neat, clean, and free from odor.
• Wet mop floors daily.
• Shampoo and extract carpets as per schedule.
• Attend to spills immediately.
• Empty trash liners and clean containers.
• Disinfect beds, rails, and surfaces.
• Clean all countertops, windowsills, furniture, and over-the-bed items.
• Strip, seal, and refinish floors as scheduled.
• Clean floor edges and corners to prevent build-up.
• Clean windows and mirrors.
• Demonstrate correct safety techniques.
• Support effective communication and pleasant working conditions.
• Comply with privacy practices and protect residents' health information.
