THE DAIMLER WATERFORD GROUP LLC is seeking an experienced Part-Time Junior Accountant / Bookkeeper to support multiple clients with full-cycle accounting and bookkeeping from a remote location. The role requires independence, ability to meet deadlines, and strong analytical and communication skills across GovCon projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Minimum three (3) years of hands-on QuickBooks Online experience and three (3) years of QuickBooks Desktop experience.
• Experience with full-cycle bookkeeping, A/P, A/R, payroll accounting, general ledger, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close.
• Experience supporting multiple clients or entities and ability to move between differing structures.
• Practical knowledge of debits/credits, accruals, prepaid expenses, payroll liabilities, loans, fixed assets, and adjusting entries.
• Proficiency with Excel formulas, sorting/filtering, lookups, and reconciliations.
• Strong organizational, analytical, confidentiality, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle bookkeeping and manage general ledger for assigned clients.
• Process and manage A/P and A/R; prepare invoices and record receipts.
• Perform payroll accounting including employer taxes and deductions.
• Complete monthly reconciliations and balance-sheet/PL reports.
• Prepare journal entries and review the ledger for discrepancies.
• Complete month-end close procedures and prepare financial statements.
• Maintain audit trails and communicate with clients about deadlines.
• Investigate discrepancies and escalate complex issues for review.
