Lodge Retirement, a Caring Place Healthcare Group facility, is seeking a reliable Activities Driver to transport residents during activity excursions in Cincinnati. The role supports resident engagement and requires a Class B CDL with a passenger endorsement and a commitment to safety.

You will assist residents, perform vehicle checks, and coordinate with the care team to ensure a smooth, compassionate experience for seniors in a part-time schedule.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CDL Class B with passenger endorsement required.
• Must possess personal vehicle insurance coverage and provide ongoing proof of coverage.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to remain calm and cope with mental and emotional stress of the position.
• Must relate to and work with ill, disabled, emotionally upset and hostile elderly.
• Must be in good health and free of communicable diseases.
• Must have visual acuity and hearing.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull and move equipment over 25 pounds.
• Must assist in evacuation of residents if needed.
• Must read, write and speak English.

Responsabilidades

• Provide safe, on-time transportation for resident activities.
• Assist residents with boarding/un-boarding the vehicle.
• Inspect vehicle prior to trips and report safety concerns.
• Report accidents/incidents to Activities Director.
• Provide proof of insurability annually or as requested.
• Communicate professionally with healthcare team, residents, families and vendors.
• Adhere to facility policies including infection control and HIPAA.
• Attend in-service programs and meetings as required.
