The Lodge Retirement Community in Cincinnati is seeking a reliable Activities Driver to transport residents and support activity outings with a friendly, professional approach. A Class B CDL with passenger endorsement is required, along with a clean driving record and the ability to work 10-15 hours per week.

You will escort residents, assist with boarding, perform pre-trip vehicle checks, and follow HIPAA and facility policies while providing safe, on-time transportation and engaging,

Qualificações

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Must possess a current Commercial Driver's License with a passenger endorsement.
• Must possess personal vehicle insurance coverage and provide ongoing proof of coverage.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and, to work independently and as a part of a team.
• Ability to remain calm and cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
• Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, emotional upset and at times, hostile elderly.
• Must be in good general health and free of communicable diseases.
• Must have visual acuity and ability to hear, with or without use of prosthetics.
• Must have the physical ability to lift, push, pull and move equipment in excess of 25 pounds.
• Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents from the vehicle and/or activity if needed.
• Must have the ability to read, write and speak the English language.

Responsabilidades

• Provide safe and on-time transportation for resident activities.
• Assist residents with boarding and un-boarding the vehicle.
• Perform inspection of facility vehicle prior to every trip and report any damage or safety concerns to Activities Director.
• Report all accidents and incidents to Activities Director.
• Provide current proof of insurability annually or as requested.
• Communicate in a positive manner with healthcare team members, residents, families, visitors and vendors.
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures, including infection control, safety, and HIPAA regulations.
• Attend in-service programs, educational workshops and meetings as required by the facility and state.

Your Role as an Activities Driver:
