Securitas Security is seeking a part-time Security Officer in Appleton, WI. You will support client sites with access control, patrols, and reporting, while delivering courteous service to employees and guests. The role emphasizes de-escalation, situational awareness, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to work part‑time.
• High School Diploma or GED required or able to complete GED within 6 months.
• Basic computer/technology skills and customer service background preferred.
• Security, law enforcement, or military experience is a plus.
• Ability to interact calmly with a wide range of individuals and stay alert.
• Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening including drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation at site entrances and premises.
• Perform access control at security entrances/exits.
• Conduct patrols inside/outside client premises in various conditions.
• Interact with client employees and guests on a regular basis.
• Identify and report safety hazards or suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports on incidents and patrols.
• Work in a team to meet site goals and complete tasks.
• Carry out additional related duties as required at the site.
