Securitas Global Clients America invites applications for a Part-Time Security Officer position in Madison, WI. You will perform access control, conduct patrols, and respond to incidents while engaging with clients and employees to maintain a safe environment.

Other duties include reporting hazards, following post orders, and participating in training and pre-employment screening. This role offers flexible shifts with opportunities to move into a Full-Time role as positions become available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and clear driving record.
• High school diploma or GED or ability to complete GED within 6 months.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Must interact with a wide range of individuals professionally.
• Willing to participate in pre-employment screening (drug screen and background).

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside the client’s premises in various weather conditions.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
• Set up barriers / signage and provide direction or information to others.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
