Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in Allentown, PA. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, and provide exceptional customer service while following site policies.

The role offers weekend evening shifts, training opportunities, and a path to grow within a dynamic team serving diverse industries within technology, media, and telecommunications.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, business areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and credential requirements in accordance with site policies; document incidents, observations, and required daily activity reports.
• Support a professional workplace environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following Allied Universal and client-specific procedures.
