Qualifications

• Valid New York State Security Guard License.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior professional experience in a security or screening role.
• 2+ years of service in any U.S. military branch.
• Prior work in law enforcement or corrections.
• Strong attention to detail, focus, and consistent work ethic.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Authorized to legally work in the United States.
• Successful completion of a drug test with negative results.
• Comfortable using screening software and equipment.
• Must pass an extensive background check.

Responsibilities

• Inspect bags and items using x-ray screening equipment.
• Analyze images and determine if additional inspection is required.
• Communicate findings and concerns to appropriate personnel and supervisors.
• Identify and respond to suspicious items or alarm triggers.
• Record incidents and observations with accuracy and professionalism.
• Maintain alertness and situational awareness at all times.
• Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols.
