Job Description

$22.00/ Hour

Location: Hollywood, California

Part-time only (overnight + weekend availability needed)

Requirements: Must Have Minimum 1 Year Of Security Experience. No visible tattoos/piercings (face, hands, neck).

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer. The Security Professional Flex Officer will serve and safeguard clients in various industries such as Healthcare, Education, and Finance. Use our shift-pickup platform to view and claim open shifts based on your availability, allowing you to build a flexible schedule while gaining valuable site experience across industries. This position offers opportunities for income supplementation or career growth, with potential irregular shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
• Monitor for irregular or unusual conditions creating security concerns or hazards
• Sound alarms or call police/fire in emergencies
• Warn violators of infractions
• Control access points and monitor entrances/exits
• Observe and prevent theft, ensure proper property removal
• Investigate incidents, prepare reports, maintain logs
• Assist customers, employees, visitors courteously
• Make emergency notifications as per site Post Orders

Qualifications (must Have)

• High school diploma or 5 years of verifiable experience
• State/local licensing as required
• Valid driver’s license if operating a vehicle
• Background check and drug screening required
• No prior experience required
• Must be at least 18 years old (21 if armed)
• Reliable, adaptable, able to operate communication equipment
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to evaluate situations quickly
• Ability to mediate conflicts
• Teamwork and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Multilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic)
• Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience
