Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer – Patrol Driver in Petersburg, VA. You will perform unarmed patrols at a utility location, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and use strong customer service to assist employees and visitors.

The role also includes documenting incidents and coordinating with site contacts and emergency services as needed. Pay is $18.00 per hour, with a schedule that includes nights and weekends on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to assigned locations, verify credentials as directed, and report access concerns or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, incident documentation, and shift communications.
