Job description

We are looking for Part Time Security Officer to join our team.

Part time evening shifts (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) in Milford, CT.

Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, reliable and able to stand for long periods of time.

Must have an active CT Security Guard License and valid Driver's License.

Client requires employees to have proof of vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Preserve order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.
• Monitor and patrol premises on foot or as directed.
• Check for unsafe conditions, hazards, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.
• Direct clientele to the intended destination.
• Assess and act upon threats or deviant behavior accordingly.
• Prepare logs and reports as required.
• Communication. As a security officer, you will need to have good communication with everyone you interact with.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Proven work experience in a security field.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Openwork availability preferred.
• Active CT Security Guard License and certificates that apply.
