• Background check will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency responses at a utility location.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor/contractor authorization per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations.
• Complete accurate activity and incident reports per Allied Universal procedures.

Job Schedule:

Day TimeTue 02:00 PM - 06:00 PM Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, perimeter fencing, and other assigned areas to help identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
