Job summary

Allied Universal seeks a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time TWIC Compliance in Seattle, WA to provide flexible, dependable hours at an assigned site with opportunities to pick up additional shifts. The role pays $23.72 per hour and supports a fixed weekly shift plus an option to claim extra shifts through a scheduling platform.

Responsibilities include customer service, incident response, patrols, access monitoring and accurate reporting to site contacts and leadership.

Qualifications

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail and mall areas, including common spaces, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions, helping to deter unauthorized access, theft, and disruptive behavior.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
