Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in Webster Groves, MO is seeking a Security Officer to help maintain a safe environment for clients. You will monitor premises, manage access control, and patrol diverse sites, enforcing client policies for personnel and visitors.

Ideal candidates will have strong customer service skills, the ability to work independently, and calm, professional judgment in emergencies. This part-time swing-shift role pays $19 per hour and includes comprehensive benefits.

Primary Location: Webster Groves, MO

Wage: $19.00/HR

Swing Shift: 24 Hours Per Week

• 1500 - 2300

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Access control duties - badge creation.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Valid Drivers License required.
• Must have a strong professional appearance.
• Driving record must meet company and / or insurance standards.
• Reliable means of transportation needed.
