Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Perimeter Patrol) in Doral, FL. You will safeguard client sites across various industries, perform routine patrols, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of broadcast, office, warehouse, loading, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, delivery traffic, and restricted areas in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate locations.
• Maintain detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff information while supporting a professional and welcoming environment.
