Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Threat Recognition in Sterling, VA. The role involves unarmed patrols, monitoring access points, and delivering professional customer service at a technology infrastructure site.

Key responsibilities include responding to incidents and alarms, documenting activities, and maintaining a visible security presence to deter incidents.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience or equivalent.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology infrastructure location by carrying out site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, data center areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, and visitors in accordance with site policies.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and access-related activities through required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
