Job summary

Allied Universal in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time) to perform patrols, control access, and deliver excellent customer service at a logistics and distribution site.

The role offers a flexible, part-time schedule, the chance to earn by the hour ($19.28) and to advance through our Shift-claim platform, with emphasis on safety, professionalism, and teamwork within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required as per federal, state and local laws.
• Allied Universal may consider applicants with criminal histories as permitted by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by following security procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and document activity per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility and surrounding areas to deter incidents and identify concerns.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify site contacts or emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear reports of patrols, incidents, and access activity using required tools.
