Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Patrol Coordination) in Cincinnati, OH. You will safeguard client sites, provide customer service, and maintain a professional presence across assigned areas.

The position offers flexible hours with day and evening shifts, a focus on safety, and opportunities to explore new roles via the Claim a Shift platform. Prior security experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required under federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws; valid driver’s license for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, parking patrons, and employees while following site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of parking facilities, access points, pedestrian areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and assigned locations for unusual conditions and security-related issues.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, professional manner following procedures.
• Document observations and incidents and communicate information to supervision and site contacts.
