Schedule includes daytime shifts on Saturdays and Sundays with a start of 08:30 AM and end 04:30 PM. The position requires at least one year of security experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience are preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Applicants must be at least 18 for unarmed roles and 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background checks and drug screening may be required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and partners.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of shelter areas and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry per site procedures.
• Document observations and shift activity in required reports.
