Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer in Lewiston Woodville, NC. You will patrol, monitor access, and document security-related activities to deter incidents and ensure safety.

Responsibilities include greeting clients, handling visitor interactions, and maintaining clear logs and reports. A background check and drug screen are required by law. X-ray screening experience is preferred, along with basic tech fluency.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials, report unusual conditions or damaged equipment to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document observations and actions taken.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports and communicate with site personnel and emergency responders.
