DK Security, Inc. invites applications for a part-time Security Officer. You will deliver customer-focused security, patrol assigned areas, control access, and respond to emergencies as needed. This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a professional demeanor on-site.

Ideal candidates are 18+, possess a HS diploma or GED, and can pass background/drug screens. The position includes opportunities for growth within Michigan operations and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification required or willingness to obtain.
• Must pass drug screening and background checks as required.
• Candidates with prior security, law enforcement, or related experience encouraged to apply.
• This is a part-time role with occasional up to 39 hours per week.
• Armed work eligibility: not applicable for this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide security presence in building lobbies, reception areas and around premises.
• Observe and report suspicious activities and incidents promptly.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct while on duty.
• Control access by verifying IDs and following proper procedures.
• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols as assigned and respond to emergencies.
• Communicate with client staff and site supervisor regarding security concerns.
