The role requires a NYS Security Guard License, at least one year of security experience, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Background checks required by applicable laws.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• License requirements may vary by state/local regulations.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff and service providers.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other events.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site policies.
• Prepare reports and maintain activity logs.
