Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer in Houston, TX for a part-time patrol position. You will protect tenants and visitors, enforce site policies, and respond to incidents with professionalism while maintaining a visible security presence.

As a Part-Time Patrol Officer, you’ll leverage our access control measures, document events, and coordinate with site management to ensure a safe environment. The role offers flexible scheduling and the chance to grow within a trusted security team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in law enforcement, or 2 years in security supervision, or 3 years in security.
• Guard card/license preferred.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ (unarmed) or 21+ (armed) and HS diploma.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of building areas and perimeter.
• Monitor access and verify visitor/contractor entry.
• Document incidents and observations for management.
