Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer (Unarmed) in Allen, TX to protect clients across Tech/Media/Telecom environments. You will perform routine patrols, manage access, and document security activity while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires 1 year of security experience, with CPR/First Aid preferred, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Schedule includes Mon-Sun, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, with training and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Background check will be conducted as part of employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and facility concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate security-related logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain a professional presence while helping to deter unauthorized access, theft, and disruptive behavior in a fast-paced technology-focused environment.
