Qualifications

• Previous security experience is required.
• Valid Texas Security License or ability to obtain one.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
• Ability to remain alert and attentive during overnight hours.
• Ability to walk and patrol the property throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the outside of the building every hour throughout the shift.
• Patrol the garage and loading dock every hour.
• Monitor the property for suspicious activity, safety concerns, unauthorized access, or other security issues.
• Maintain a visible security presence throughout the property.
• Respond appropriately to security incidents and emergencies.
• Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports.
• Follow all post orders, company policies, and client requirements.
• Maintain professional communication with clients, employees, visitors, and the public.
• Remain alert and attentive throughout the entire overnight shift.

United Protective Services is seeking a dependable and experienced Part-Time Security Officer to provide overnight security coverage. This position is responsible for maintaining a visible security presence and conducting regular exterior patrols of the property.

Schedule & Pay

• Tuesday: 10:00 PM-6:00 AM
• Pay: $17.50 per hour
• Part-Time: 16 hours per week
