Job summary

Allied Universal in Newbern, AL is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol Driver). This role offers flexible scheduling through our Claim a Shift platform and a focus on customer service and safety.

You will monitor sites, patrol facilities, control access, and respond to incidents while maintaining a visible presence. A valid driver's license is required; minimum age 18; HS diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required according to policy.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and report observations per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, energy sites, and perimeters.
• Monitor access, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and maintain access records.
• Document incidents and communicate information to site leadership or emergency personnel.
