Job summary

DK Security, Inc. is seeking a Uniform Security Officer for sites in West Olive, MI. This on‑site position covers building and grounds protection, customer service, and incident reporting on first and second shifts.

Part‑time on‑call with 4 shifts per month, 0530‑1315 or 1315‑2100, offers competitive pay and benefits. Applicants must be 18+ with a HS diploma or GED, pass background and drug tests, and have reliable transportation. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to pass criminal background check (no felonies or misdemeanors).
• Able to pass drug test at hire and annually.
• Impeccable grooming per policy.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Professional image and good communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and email.
• Reliable transportation; able to travel to locations.
• Willing to become CPR/First Aid/AED certified.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk long shifts.
• Able to work independently with short notice.

Responsibilities

• Guard posts and monitor lobbies/reception areas.
• Conduct hourly foot patrols of interior/exterior areas.
• Monitor CCTV and ensure restricted areas are secure.
• Check employee/vendor identifications; deter suspicious activity.
• Provide first aid if needed; operate x-ray/metal detection where deployed.
• Follow site post guidelines and report hazards and repairs.
• Document daily activities and incident reports.
• Do not smoke while in DK Uniform.
• Other duties as assigned.
