Qualifications

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements per state/local laws; may be required prior to employment.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following site procedures and access-control protocols.
• Respond to incidents and disturbances calmly, notify appropriate personnel, and follow reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and direct individuals to appropriate areas.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and daily activity logs per site procedures.
