Job Description

Allied Universal Security is seeking candidates for the position of Unarmed Security Officer (USO).

• Pay rate: $24.00 per hour.

As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a Government Building.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, enforce site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies if appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter.
• Participate in industry-specific security/safety training programs.

Qualifications

• Effective written and oral communication skills and good interpersonal skills.
• Intermediate computer skills for operating wireless technology.
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Work in various environments, including cold or hot weather, rain, or snow.
• Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
• Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders during shifts.
• Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
