Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel at a medical examiner office per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior/exterior areas and perimeter to report hazards or unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, vendors, and authorized personnel per procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and medical emergencies, notify relevant personnel, and complete required documentation.
• Maintain accurate incident logs and shift communications while protecting confidential information.
