Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Reception Coordinator in Tampa, FL. This role offers reliable, fixed anchor shifts with the flexibility to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will provide front-desk customer service, verify IDs, manage visitor logs, monitor cameras, and respond to incidents with calm professionalism. The position pays $17.50 per hour with part-time hours in the listed schedule.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles; HS diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government office front desk.
• Verify identification, issue visitor credentials, maintain logs, and direct guests to offices.
• Monitor entry activity, cameras, alarms, and other security systems from the front desk.
• Respond to incidents and inquiries calmly, contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Maintain accurate records of visitors, incidents, deliveries, and front-desk activities.
