Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government office front desk by carrying out security procedures.
• Monitor access by verifying visitor credentials and issuing passes.
• Answer phones, provide general information, and maintain professional communication with staff and visitors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document security concerns per site procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs and incident reports; deter unauthorized access.
