Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Sterling, VA. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, provide customer service, support access control, and document observations using tablet tools. The role emphasizes a visible security presence and professional interactions with employees and visitors.

Position type: Part Time. Pay rate: $16.00 per hour. Schedule includes daytime hours on Saturdays and Sundays.

Qualifications

Excellent customer service to clients and visitors.
Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
Comfortable using computers/tablets for reporting and patrol documentation.
Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Background investigation as a condition of employment.
Drug screen as required by law and policy.
Licensing requirements may apply by state/local law as needed.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only (if applicable).

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following site-specific security procedures.
Respond to incidents and access-control concerns calmly and professionally.
Conduct regular and random patrols to deter unauthorized access and monitor site areas.
Monitor entry/exit activity for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries.
Document observations and incidents and report to site contacts or leadership.
