Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Saint Peters, MO to patrol and safeguard the facility, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

You will conduct routine rounds, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with professionalism. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to work across multiple shifts through our Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in compliance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, vehicle gates, loading areas, and package handling zones, verifying authorized entry in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, parking areas, trailer yards, loading docks, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document observations, incidents, and irregular conditions in clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
