Job summary

Allied Universal in Marston, MO is seeking a Security Officer - Enhanced Part Time. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts via our scheduling platform, providing flexible hours and a chance to earn more while supporting clients across technology, media, and telecom locations.

The position emphasizes customer service, site access control, patrols, incident response, and documentation.

Qualifications

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required.
Pepper spray certification is preferred.
Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors at a location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site policies, and report access‑control concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, document observations, and communicate information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal procedures.
